Lost in space

A very quick post i am still around but working away from home alot at the min so i havent been able to log on for any ammout of time, hopefully i should get some time towards the end of the week

Domi's Domi's Typhoon's oh and a Wolf

I logged, in there was an op on that called for typhoons and domis, only had limited time so I jumped into my wolf (it was that or a hurricane but I didn't fancy trying to get back if I had to log in hostile space with a 1600 plate, it has a fat ass and the agility of  a stack of bricks ).

We visited noir's pocket, nearly got a fight but they bailed.  We did manage to get a lachesis which dropped a dark blood disruptor, only half the fleet got on the mail as we were the back group, we just missed it.  After more moving around our scout jumped into 7MD-S1 and reported a frig and an Assault frig gang landing on our in gate so fc sends the hic in.  He bubbles up and we all follow, we catch and kill seven of them including 3 assault frigs.  Was a bit overkill tbh but they were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

We started to move around again and visited bdeal's pocket but got wind of some targets in D-GTMI so burned back down.  We played around  for 20 mins or so but it never really worked out, we did manage to snag a cane and flycatcher and I'm sure we had a drake also but I can't find a KM for it so I'm not too sure what happened.

As we were on our way back home we got word of a bubbled carrier in dai's pocket.  We got a jb( I'm not sure who's it was tbh might have been a dara ) to 3GXF-U and then started to move conventionally to B-WPLZ catching a drake in 49GC-R on the way.  We nearly had an onyx that  was pointed as well but he was burning like a mad man and I just missed the re-tackle.  As we arrived we heard that the carrier had left the field but it's bs heavy support fleet were still around, by the time we got into xhq a daisoda gang had engaged/drove them off so our fleet stood down, we all moved to dital and made our way back to the staging area only 6 jumps or so.

I logged in esescama and had a cuppa.  It was an enjoyable op, a good chance to get in fleet with my new Corp mates and alliance chums.  Very professional, found the fc a bit quiet compared to what I'm used to but he was duel boxing and my head set isn't the best.  I look forward to flying under him again =

Welcome to M.Corp

It's official I'm now in M.Corp all my security checks were completed and paper work filed. I've joined the intel channels and forums. I just need to get registered on team-speak and I'm all set, I even managed to get some ships to the stageing area for our current contract. I hope to be getting in some fights very soon.

But before all that I'm takeing the wife and kids to the nottingham goose fair should be fun!

Things are moving fast

Well as the title says things have been moving fast. As soon as I read the alliance mail spelling out the future for D'k I almost immediately made my mind up that I wanted to try something new. I didn't have to go far as I was still in touch with few friends from an old corp who were now in M. Corp, one of the longest running corps in eve and who are in mercenary coalition alliance. Being a merc is one of my eve goals so it seemed like an opportunity was presenting itself, I applied to M. and thanks to help from Ajax, sable and Lasc it was relatively painless process. I am now waiting out my 24hr cool down before becoming a mercenary. I'm really looking forward to the new challenge I'm about to under take, it also seems my alt is going to have more up time as I will need ships moving a lot more, so I had better dust off my orca.

Time for a change ??

Well the time to re-evaluate my position as a member of d'k has not been long in coming, i received an alliance mail about a chance there could be for a return to roots with the corps of d'k rallying under the banner of Ushra'Khan once again, now under normal circumstances that would be a good thing but other things in the mail leave me very disappointed things I can't go into right now as it's "secret" but I'm now left with a decision to make and it is a hard one I think I will sleep on it.

solo kill best kill!

Well after 2 years playing eve I finally got a solo kill :) 

I logged on an hour or so after downtime.  I was just logging on to see if anything was going down but nothing was happening that interested me all that much, a few guys camping  daisho syndicate space but they were mostly afk cloaking. 

If you didn't know dai are one of the alliance's given space in providence after the removal of CVA by AAA U'k and allies and until recently were a part of the nip(non invasion packed ) fightclub In provi, but due to reasons, some I agree with some I don't, we are now at war along with sodalitas xx and dara cothrom also ex nip alliance's between them.  They are a formidable force, one we may not be able to beat. Camping their bearing grounds is not my idea of fun but it does serve a purpose.

So sitting in esescama spinning ships with a quick look at dotlan amamake is only 4 jumps away, so off I go not too fussed about getting blown up.  I love rifters and t1 frigs in general, I just feel so care free in one.  As I jump into the target system  40+ pl in local who had a camp on the osoggur gate mainly  bc hacs and logis.   I had to be on my toes so off to a safe spot I have close to belt 3-1,  there I sat directional up scanning every 30secs or so, in the direction of the belt I see a cane pop on scan. He hangs around for a few minutes then leaves.  10 min passes and I've had a few near misses with a stabber and a taranis but as I land in the belt he's warping out so back to the ss and start scanning again.  A few moments later I get the taranis on scan so I align.  Whilst I think about whether it is wise I try and take on what's considered the best inty in the game.  Screw it,  why not I think, off we go in warp, he's still on scan.  I land about 40km of him, hit approach afterburner on, it was all down to him if he wanted a fight or not as he can easily out run me but thankfully he heads my way.  He yellow boxes and I return the favour  as he gets into range i scram and web  { do you want to proceed with this dangerous act }, ahh fuck off I'm trying to kill this guy ( yes I forget I'm in low sec doh).  As I settle into orbit my shields have disappeared and he's at 20%.  As I start to think about how to get my pod out my damage jumps and he's at half armour, we're now level so I sit there fingers crossed, hoping and praying we both enter structure and I start to see I may have the upper hand as my rep cycles giving me a small amount of armour.  The taranis pops, I've done it, my first solo kill and god does it feel good. 

I set course for his wreck to see what goodies he's left me then I realise the 10% of structure I had left was now full.  I was in my pod, damn those pesky ninja rats.  Oh well let's get another ship and see what else I might be able to pop.  I set destination to Rens and just as I land on the out gate (yes you guessed it osoggur gate oops)  I'm in station in a new clone, damn those smartbombing pl guys, uugh still i won't let that stop me ,14 jumps to Rens all high sec. The auto pilot went on and I had some food :)

As soon as I had finished eating and re-shipped with rigs this time (as I forgot to fit them on my last ship) off I go back to amamake avoiding the osoggur gate for obvious reasons.  I jumped in and head straight to my ss near belt 3-1 and start scanning again for MORE pray and guess who's back in a new taranis.  Feeling confident in my new rifter with damage rigs this time I warp down, just as i land he warps off, for the next few minutes we both keep warping back and forth neither of us wanting to be the one that lands in the belt first.  The pesky rats are on to us now.    Finally I land and get tackle and the fight starts again, this time he remembers to deploy his drones but my damage  is hitting a lot harder than the previous engagement and even with his drones on me he goes down  just as I'm entering structure ,i quickly loot and off to my safe I go.  2 solo kills now to my name.  I start scanning the belt desperate for more kills, a raptor appears, off I go with no fear.  He warps just as I land, I go back to scanning, a stabber appears then the raptor again (alarm bells should have started to ring but I had the taste of blood, screw it lets do it).  I warp down and see the stabber raptor must have left, I hit the AB as he redboxes me. Ouch,  it's not a good idea flying straight into AC's.  xistent.  I get him to  about 10% shields, I'm going to win this I start to think just as the raptor lands, locks me up, and starts eating me, and I go down .  I get my pod out a little bit unhappy but that's eve, one minute your up, the next down, that's why I love this game so much.  

On a side note I do get on the stabbers KM after he tries to leave amamake via the PL gate camp, doh :)

Whats it all about?

Hi Ive decided to start blogging about my time in the mmo EvE Online. Its something i have wanted to do for awhile now but due to work commitments i have never found the time. I will mostly writing about what I've been doing and my thoughts on whats going on around me and from time to time i may post on other topics but i will try to keep them to a minimum.

Living in Providence and serving in the alliance Damu'Khonde (formally Ushra'Khan if you didn't know ) i will give my opinion on what going on in our pocket of space, but more importantly i will be blogging about HOW i feel not what i SHOULD feel about my alliance ,corp and genaral happenings in eve whether it be good or bad.

I live my life honestly and that transfers into the game i don't scam or grief and try to be hourable  but that's not to say i wont blow your ass up if you get in my cross hairs :)  Just lately Ive got the urge to become a pirate but i wont abandon my alliance mates right in the middle of a war just to fufill one of my eve goals when things cool down in providence i will reevaluate the situation.

I started playing since apr/08 2mths in i had a break money was tight and i didn't resub until feb/09 i would consider myself a very strange capsuler with nearly 2 years playing i still haven't got to grips with pvp ( in fact my first solo kill came today i think i will do a separate post for that one and milk it a bit )  I rely on evemon and battleclinic for fits as i really struggle with all the ships and there respective bonuses I find it very confusing and I'm not ashamed to say so i try not to let affect my gameplay maybe I'm just too lazy to learn it all :) any how i think ive rambled on for long enough.


 I just wanted to say hi I will try to post as often as I can but im not going to set myself an impossible task of posting every day I am completely new to writing  and my spelling sucks so it takes time to put a post together I will try for a mid week and weekend post for now and see how it goes.
